Josef has helped me to develop both strategic thinking and management best practice especially as I manage staff who have extensive experience leading global teams around the world. Josef asks great questions and helps me think outside the box. He is intuitive, collaborative and kind and he doesn’t give you the answers but asks the right questions so that you can get to the answers yourself.

The work Josef did with us was significant. The process allowed us to understand more deeply the things that were important to us individually and collectively. We came out of it as a much stronger team with greater clarity about our shared purpose and a much greater sense of how we can build a really strong future for the organisation.

Attending the coaching conversations program was a paradigm shift for me. I learned that I could achieve better goals by creating a psychologically safe environment for staff to take ownership and to solve problems rather than than me giving the answers all the time. My staff showed more independence and creative thinking and I began to think of more innovative ways of engaging them.

Josef assisted us with strategic planning and it was a fabulous process. He gently coached us into taking a more participatory approach than we had planned and we’re really pleased we took this approach. We have a robust strategy that 12 months on is really guiding our work and is still relevant. Josef provides that extra guidance and clarity that we couldn’t have come up with ourselves and you know that with him, every minute of the process is going to be well used.

I found our sessions extremely energising and motivating; they helped me clarify my priorities and thinking. Coaching has really changed the way I work – it’s helped me be more thoughtful, strategic and confident and it’s given me tools that I can use when I hit roadblocks. Josef coaches with calmness, curiosity and real care and it feels like a partnership. It really was one of the most empowering experiences and I’m grateful to have worked with Josef when I really needed it.

I credit Josef’s support for our team which came at a time when we were a newly-formed executive team developing a framework for ourselves – Josef supported us to make that a great framework. The thing I most appreciate about Josef’s approach is that it is wholly strengths-based, which is really important when team members, myself included, are working through complex issues with themselves and with others.

Josef did a great job at delivering the Coaching Conversations program. I really enjoyed the four training workshops and got a lot out of them. It has really made me reflect on the way I engage with my team and I am already seeing positive results. I think it will have a powerful impact across the organisation.

I have worked with Josef for over 8 years. We’ve worked on leadership capacity, developing values-based culture and organisational reviews. Josef’s strengths are that he is incredibly humble, smart, he’s a great listener and he is an excellent facilitator. What particularly stands out is that he is a great co-designer: he listens and develops best practice approaches as a result.

Josef helped me manage the expectations of my role and what it meant to be an executive in difficult times, forging my own executive identity. He challenged me on my blind spots and helped me to get out of my comfort zone. He has a terrific sense of humour, I feel incredibly comfortable sharing with him the trickiest, thorniest, most vulnerable situations in my professional life.

I really enjoyed the coaching conversations program. The enjoyment of the sessions obviously has much to do with the facilitator and it was impressive that Josef managed to set the same tone via Zoom that he does for workshops in person. I can't think of a training program lasting multiple sessions that I enjoyed more, and there were things that will definitely stay with me. I will forever try to remain curious!
